2. Scope of Work

All services provided by Northwest Standard are based on the written scope agreed upon between the client and the company. Additional work, changes, or modifications requested by the client must be documented and approved through a written change order with updated pricing and timelines.

3. Estimates and Proposals

All quotes, proposals, and estimates provided by Northwest Standard are valid for thirty days unless otherwise stated. Estimates are based on the information available at the time of inspection and may require adjustments if unforeseen conditions arise.

4. Deposits and Payments

Clients agree to pay all invoices according to the payment schedule outlined in the proposal.
Typical payment structure may include:
  • Initial deposit to secure scheduling
  • Progress payments during construction
  • Final payment upon completion
Payment is considered late if not received by the date specified in the invoice. Late payments may result in work stoppage until the account is brought current.

5. Change Orders

Any changes to the original project scope must be approved in writing. Change orders may affect project cost, completion date, or material availability. Work will not proceed on change order items until both parties sign the updated agreement.

6. Scheduling and Project Timeline

Northwest Standard will provide an estimated project timeline. Weather, material availability, unforeseen structural issues, or client driven changes may affect the timeline. The company will communicate updates promptly to ensure transparency throughout the project.

7. Materials and Product Selection

All materials installed by Northwest Standard will be new and of professional grade unless otherwise noted. If a product becomes unavailable, the company will provide comparable alternatives for the client to approve.

8. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:
  • Provide access to the job site during normal working hours
  • Keep pets and children away from active work areas for safety
  • Secure valuable or fragile items prior to construction
  • Obtain property owner approval if the client is not the owner
  • Notify the company promptly of any concerns or questions
Failure to meet these responsibilities may delay the project.

9. Workmanship Warranty

Northwest Standard provides a five year workmanship warranty on completed projects unless otherwise specified in writing.

This warranty covers defects in labor but does not include:
  • Damage caused by weather, natural disasters, or accidents
  • Owner neglect, misuse, or attempted repairs by others
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Issues related to materials covered separately under manufacturer warranties

10. Safety and Job Site Regulations

The safety of clients, workers, and property is a priority. Clients agree not to enter restricted construction zones without notice and must follow directions given by the crew to maintain safe working conditions.

11. Liability

Northwest Standard is not responsible for existing structural issues, hidden damage, or pre existing deficiencies discovered during the project. If such conditions are found, the company will notify the client and recommend appropriate solutions that may require additional cost.

12. Cancellations

Project cancellations must be submitted in writing. Deposits may be refundable or non refundable depending on labor scheduling, materials ordered, or work already performed.

13. Website Use and Intellectual Property

All content on the Northwest Standard website including text, images, branding, and design belongs to the company. Reproduction or distribution without written permission is not allowed.

14. Privacy Policy

Client information including name, address, phone number, and project details is kept confidential and is used only for scheduling, billing, communication, and service delivery. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties.
